Starting at 9AM on 3rd September 2021, the competition will begin. It will finish at 9AM on the 1st October 2021. These dates/times are based on Melbourne, Australia time.

This is not a step competition. The major winners will be the ones who earn the most Aglet. Choosing from 8 shoes, 4 Regular Aglet and 4 Gold Aglet, players will best use the shoes to their conditions to generate as much Aglet as possible.

This will be broken up into 4 weekly events, with the overall prize winners being the players who generated the most Aglet for Steptember.

The overall winner of Steptember will win a bunch of cool stuff including a design tutorial from Aglet's Dan Freebairn where you will design a colorway that will then be released into Aglet. The winner will also get an exclusive 1/1 Friends & Family version of the same shoe.

You will choose from 8 Steptember Grinders made available in the Aglet Sneaker Shop. 4 will be Regular Aglet, 4 will be Gold Aglet. While the Gold Aglet grinders have slightly better stats, you can absolutely win this competition using the Regular Aglet variants if you're dedicated and smart with your repairs and accessories.

Each of the Grinders will work best in Rain, Snow, Sun or Cloud. It is up to you to choose the right shoe for your conditions.

You are participating in the Steptember Challenge when you are wearing one of these Steptember Grinders shoes ONLY.

You need to check in to 3 Stashes per week to qualify. A checkin can be at a Repair Station, Deadstock Station, or Treasure Stash (Dry checkin is OK)

Aglet you find in Treasure Stashes will be added to your overall tally.

We will release batches of the Steptember Grinders at random times throughout Steptember. Supply is not guaranteed.

As you walk in these specially created kicks, we will be collating the data. You will be able to see all the leaderboards at https://steptember.aglet.app. All steps, check-ins and Aglet earned will be checked and vetted prior to announcing weekly and month-long winners.
